Due to a technological time zone error, the Federal Communications Commission released a notice that the Wireline Competition Bureau is extending the deadline for Emergency Connectivity Fund invoices from October 30 to November 3 at 7:59 p.m. ET.
Schools, libraries, and similar publicly funded programs use Emergency Connectivity Funds (ECFs) to obtain reasonably priced wi-fi routers, hotspots, and modems in order to run their computers, laptops, and tablets. Failing to submit reimbursement invoices to the Wireless Competition Bureau in a timely manner may have prevented public programs from affording these services.
